About the speakers
NOUMAN ALI KHAN
Ustadh Nouman’s dynamic style of teaching the Arabic language, along with his deep insights and passionate oratory in conveying the message of the Quran, have made him a household name not only in the United States where he grew up, but around the world. He established Bayyinah Institute in 2005 with the aim of making study of the Quran and its language accessible and engaging through live classes and media; then Bayyinah TV was created to provide streaming and catch-up content to learners on their Arabic and Quran journeys.
DR. SOHAIB SAEED
Dr. Sohaib embodies Bayyinah Foundation’s aim of bridging academic worlds, having graduated from Al-Azhar University in the field of Tafsir & Quranic Sciences, then attaining his doctorate at SOAS, London, mentored by the renowned Prof. M.A.S. Abdel Haleem. He has taught and researched at several universities in the UK and Europe, translated and edited several important classical works, published research in leading academic journals, presented at international conferences on Quranic Studies, and provided expert consultation to major institutions in East and West.
